Add External Stylesheets/Pens

Any URL's added here will be added as <link>s in order, and before the CSS in the editor. If you link to another Pen, it will include the CSS from that Pen. If the preprocessor matches, it will attempt to combine them before processing.

+ add another resource

Babel is required to process package imports. If you need a different preprocessor remove all packages first.

Add External Scripts/Pens

Any URL's added here will be added as <script>s in order, and run before the JavaScript in the editor. You can use the URL of any other Pen and it will include the JavaScript from that Pen.

<p class=avatar-text>Margaret Macdonald Mackintosh, born in England in 1864, was one of the defining artists of the "Glasgow Style" in Scotland. </p>

<p>Her artistic contributions are often minimized in comparison to the work of her husband, Charles Rennie Mackintosh, but much of their work was a collaboration and he always emphasized her importance to his own art, reportedly saying "Margaret has genius, I have only talent."</p>
<p>Her early collaborations were with her sister, Frances Macdonald Macnair. The sisters met their future husbands at the Glasgow School of Art. Charles Rennie Mackintosh and Herbert Macnair were architects studying at the school in the evenings. For a time, the four artists created works together and were known as the Glasgow Four.</p>
<p>MMM worked in a variety of media including watercolors, embroidered textiles, and metal, but her most popular works were gesso panels, including <em>The May Queen</em> and the <em>Seven Princesses</em>, pictured above. The latter work encompassed three wall-sized panels, based on the play of the same name by Maurice Maeterlinck.
<p>Many artists were heavily influenced by her work, including Gustav Klimt. Sadly, her career was cut short by ill health and she passed away in 1933. There are no known works produced after 1921.</p>

                // !! IMPORTANT README:

// You may add additional external JS and CSS as needed to complete the project, however the current external resource MUST remain in place for the tests to work. BABEL must also be left in place.

  - Select the project you would
like to complete from the dropdown
  - Click the "RUN TESTS" button to
run the tests against the blank
  - Click the "TESTS" button to see
    the individual test cases.
(should all be failing at first)
  - Start coding! As you fulfill each
test case, you will see them go
    from red to green.
  - As you start to build out your
    project, when tests are failing,
    you should get helpful errors
    along the way!

// PLEASE NOTE: Adding global style rules using the * selector, or by adding rules to body {..} or html {..}, or to all elements within body or html, i.e. h1 {..}, has the potential to pollute the test suite's CSS. Try adding: * { color: red }, for a quick example!
