Add External Stylesheets/Pens

Any URL's added here will be added as <link>s in order, and before the CSS in the editor. If you link to another Pen, it will include the CSS from that Pen. If the preprocessor matches, it will attempt to combine them before processing.

+ add another resource

You're using npm packages, so we've auto-selected Babel for you here, which we require to process imports and make it all work. If you need to use a different JavaScript preprocessor, remove the packages in the npm tab.

Add External Scripts/Pens

Any URL's added here will be added as <script>s in order, and run before the JavaScript in the editor. You can use the URL of any other Pen and it will include the JavaScript from that Pen.

Use npm Packages

We can make npm packages available for you to use in your JavaScript. We use webpack to prepare them and make them available to import. We'll also process your JavaScript with Babel.

<h1>
	Cryptozoology
</h1>
<p>
Cryptozoology is a <a class="grow" href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pseudoscience">pseudoscience</a> involving the search for creatures whose existence has not been proven due to lack of evidence. The animals cryptozoologists study are referred to as cryptids by cryptozoologists. This includes living examples of creatures that are otherwise considered extinct, such as non-avian dinosaurs; animals whose existence lacks physical evidence but which appear in folklore, such as Bigfoot and <a class="magic-btn" href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chupacabra">chupacabras;</a> and wild animals dramatically outside their normal geographic ranges, such as phantom cats.
</p>
<p>
	Cryptozoology is not a recognized branch of <a class="highlight" href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zoology">zoology</a> nor a discipline of science. It is an example of pseudoscience because it relies heavily upon anecdotal evidence, stories, and alleged sightings. While cryptozoology takes a pseudoscientific approach to creatures and beings from the folklore record, the academic study of folklore is <a class="swipe" href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Folkloristics">folkloristics</a>.

// 1. Pseudoscience uses the ::after element with a transition set on the position and width of the pseudo element.

// 2. Chupacabras uses both the ::before and ::after pseudo elements. One to form the underline, and the other to transform into a magical button while the <a> tag itself scales on hover.

// 3. Zoology uses an ::after element with a transition set on the height, background colour, and position.

// 4. Folkloristics uses both the ::before and ::after pseudo elements. The first to form the underline and the second positioned on the left, while transitioning the width on :hover.
