CodePen probably won't work great in this browser. We generally only support the major desktop browsers like Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge. Use this one at your own risk! If you're looking to test things, try looking at Pens/Projects in Debug View.

A simple visualization of how RGB and CMYK work to create additive or subtractive color.

Created with only CSS (SCSS). Color blending is created using mix-blend-mode CSS.

  1. That's a very pretty visualisation!

  2. The K component of CMYK is missing though. 🤔

  3. @thepheer Oddly enough, the "k" stands for "key", which in this case is the near-black intersection in the middle. So "k" isn't a separate color -- it's actually the combination cyan, magenta, and yellow!
