I feel the same about moleskine notebooks :)
Maybe add the perspective property to the .moleskine-notebook class for a better effect ? perspective: 500px; and maybe change the transition value to transition: .2s ease-in-out; ?

I am obsessed with dotted notebooks, but as you say, Moleskine is expensive! This is a very gorgeous (inexpensive) pen though! :D
