  <h2 id="tribute-info">Octavia Hill's Life & Achievements</h2> 
  <li><b>1838:</b> Born in Wisbech, Camebridgeshire</li><br>
  <li><b>1846:</b> Move to Finchley, London due to father's misfortunes. She is homeschooled by her mother.</li><br>
  <li><b>1853:</b> Octavia meets John Ruskin and becomes his pupil.</li><br>
  <li><b>1865:</b> She persuades John Ruskin to buy property in Marylebone as housing for the poor. She promises 5% return. This is the social housing model used today ~ a ethical investment project.</li><br>
  <li><b>1866:</b> Ruskin buys more property which Octavia manages. She insists on green outdoor living spaces which she considers of upmost importance for wellbeing.</li><br>
  <li><b>1869:</b> Octavia Hill founds the British Charity Organisation Society today called Family Action which supports disadvantaged families through teaching self-help instead of simple charity giving.</li><br>
  <li><b>1870:</b> She starts a project in which skills of unemployed citizens are matched with outstanding jobs. It also offers small loans to be able to buy tools to start up.</li><br>
  <li><b>1881:</b> Octavia starts her environmental campaigning with being involved in the Smoke Abatement exhibition which lead to the successful passing of the Clean Air Act in 1956. She begins using the expression "Green Belt" which was soon widely adobted.</li><br>
  <li><b>1896:</b> She co-founds The National Trust and buys its first property for 10£.</li><br>
  <li><b>1912:</b> Octavia Hill dies in Marylebone</li><br>
