    <p>Here's a timeline of Baba Banda Singh Ji's life:</p>
      <li><strong>1670</strong>- Born in Jammu region of Jammu & Kashmir. He was named Lachman Dev.</li>
      <li><strong>1685</strong>- Became an ascetic recluse and was given the name Madho Das.</li>
      <li><strong>1708</strong>- Established a monastery in Nanded on the bank of river Godavari. Visited by, and became disciple of Guru Gobind Singh Ji and was named Banda Bahadur.</li>
      <li><strong>1709</strong>- Sacked Mughal provincial capital, Samana.</li>
      <li><strong>Post 1709</strong>- Abolished zamindari system and granted proper rights to tillers of the land.</li>
      <li><strong>1716</strong>- Captured by Mughals and tortured to death.</li>
