Add External Stylesheets/Pens

Any URL's added here will be added as
s in order, and before the CSS in the editor. If you link to another Pen, it will include the CSS from that Pen. If the preprocessor matches, it will attempt to combine them before processing.

+ add another resource

Babel is required to process package imports. If you need a different preprocessor remove all packages first.

Add External Scripts/Pens

Any URL's added here will be added as s in order, and run before the JavaScript in the editor. You can use the URL of any other Pen and it will include the JavaScript from that Pen.

First Sidebar Link

Second Sidebar Link

To reproduce the issue: use a small screen width (about 600px) so the hamburguer menu icon appears at the left.

Then click the icon.

Two things should happen:

The side nav should open

An alert should appear

However, the alert is not being shown.

The reason is that the sideNav plugin is preventing event bubbling, what makes any other event handlers on the toggler element that are delegated not to trigger.

To double check, just comment the line
$(".button-collapse").sideNav();
and run again. In doing that, the other handler (with the alert) will trigger just fine.

$('body').on('click', '.button-collapse', function() {
    window.alert('too bad :(. This event will never be triggered because the sideNav is stopping propagation.');
