Good news everyone! Tower 3’s renovations have completed and our facilities team can start removing extra desks from every conceivable corner of the rest of the floor. According to a new survey from a three letter technical institute over the river, agile product teams work best when arranged in squares for synergy. In these squares, the researchers have found that kittens and close proximity to other disciplines lead to the improved well-being of workers. Please arrange the pod member groups to match the diagram provided by the research inside tower 3’s new floor plan. ReactJS - Baby Name Inspiration https://codepen.io/ehermanson/pen/bBwXyN https://codepen.io/ehermanson/pen/bBwXyN Eric

A pretty simple ReactJS app that lists 200 popular baby names (source quoted on top of data array) and allows you to filter via a text input. This app is pretty useless, but it was a great exercise to consolidate some basic React principles, such as: - passing data through children component via props - updating state from child component via callback from parent I have added some comments in the common pain points - so this could be helpful to someone that is fairly new to React! PS: No, my wife is not expecting a baby again.. We're pretty happy with out two little ratbags! :) EDIT: Have now added a `Shortlist` feature that lets you click on names to add them to your shortlist. When a name is added to the shortlist, it doesn't appear on the list of available names anymore. Clicking on a shortlisted name will, as expected, remove it from the shortlist. Codebase is also available on GitHub, if you want a multi-file setup with ES6 modules: https://github.com/simonswiss/react-baby-names :tada:
