Add External Stylesheets/Pens

Any URL's added here will be added as
s in order, and before the CSS in the editor. If you link to another Pen, it will include the CSS from that Pen. If the preprocessor matches, it will attempt to combine them before processing.

+ add another resource

You're using npm packages, so we've auto-selected Babel for you here, which we require to process imports and make it all work. If you need to use a different JavaScript preprocessor, remove the packages in the npm tab.

Add External Scripts/Pens

Any URL's added here will be added as s in order, and run before the JavaScript in the editor. You can use the URL of any other Pen and it will include the JavaScript from that Pen.

Use npm Packages

We can make npm packages available for you to use in your JavaScript. We use webpack to prepare them and make them available to import. We'll also process your JavaScript with Babel.

TIL
input
elements in a CSS Grid will cause CSS Grids to lose their responsiveness. You can fix in Chrome by removing the min-width (which doesn't appear to be specified in Inspector). Text/images squeeze as expected. Repro:

Resize window until horizontal scrollbars appear

Expected: No horizontal scrollbars, content keeps shrinking.

Actual: Inputs stops squeezing and horizontal scrollbar appears at ~.

Step 1: Remove `min-width: auto` from Grid Items

Apply min-width: 0 to Grid Items

Step 2: Add Max Widths

    Add max-widths to form controls

Step 3: Make file and submit input text wrap

    Make input text wrap

Step 4: Make range, number, and progress full-width

    Make rando controls full-width

If you go one step further and make input/select widths `width: 100%`, then Steps 1 & 2 are redundant and not needed. But Step 1 fixes another issue (`overflow-x` elements) and Step 2 seems like a sensible default.
