CodePen probably won't work great in this browser. We generally only support the major desktop browsers like Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge. Use this one at your own risk! If you're looking to test things, try looking at Pens/Projects in Debug View.

This scene displays Holbein the Younger's "The Ambassadors" (1533) painting, which contains a famous anamorphic projection of a skull. The painting rotates to a -75° angle in front you such that it reveals the skull!

If you'd like, you can move around the scene using arrow or WASD keys, and drag to look around.

Comments

  1. You should explain about the skull rendered in anamorphic perspective, otherwise people may not understand your pen.

  2. @enxaneta thanks for the reminder, done!
