Add External Stylesheets/Pens

Any URL's added here will be added as <link>s in order, and before the CSS in the editor. If you link to another Pen, it will include the CSS from that Pen. If the preprocessor matches, it will attempt to combine them before processing.

+ add another resource

You're using npm packages, so we've auto-selected Babel for you here, which we require to process imports and make it all work. If you need to use a different JavaScript preprocessor, remove the packages in the npm tab.

Add External Scripts/Pens

Any URL's added here will be added as <script>s in order, and run before the JavaScript in the editor. You can use the URL of any other Pen and it will include the JavaScript from that Pen.

Use npm Packages

We can make npm packages available for you to use in your JavaScript. We use webpack to prepare them and make them available to import. We'll also process your JavaScript with Babel.

### Description

This pen shows how to pass a trustline opening request from a simple HTML button. It uses the CosmicLink protocol.

### Concepts

- [Trustline](https://www.stellar.org/developers/guides/concepts/assets.html#trustlines): A declaration that you accept to hold a given asset.
- [CosmicLink](https://cosmic.plus/#view:js-cosmic-lib/#what-are-cosmiclinks): A protocol to encode Stellar transactions into URIs.

### Keypoints

- GILS is an asset issued by Cosmic.plus to reward people who solve Pen of the Week challenges. [Read more...](https://codepen.io/cosmic-plus/full/eYOeoWZ)
- By looking at the code, you should be able to make sense of the link in the `href` attribute.
- The part starting from the `?` is the transaction request.
- The part before the `?` is the handler address.
- Other handlers are available, such as `https://stellar-authenticator.org` or the CosmicLink debugger linked bellow.

### Challenges

- **easy/** Edit the code to create a `[Trust GILS on public]` button. `(1000 GILS)`
- **hard/** Edit the code to create a `[Close GILS trustline]` button that passes its request to the CosmicLink debugger. `(3000 GILS)`

_Give it a try by editing the code, and be the first to post a solution on GalacticTalk to claim the reward!_

🕑 One or more of the npm packages you are using needs to be built. You're the first person to ever need it! We're building it right now and your preview will start updating again when it's ready.
