Vendor Prefixing

Add External Stylesheets/Pens

Any URL's added here will be added as <link>s in order, and before the CSS in the editor. You can use the CSS from another Pen by using it's URL and the proper URL extention.

Add Packages

Search for and use JavaScript packages from npm here. By selecting a package, an import statement will be added to the top of the JavaScript editor for this package.


Save Automatically?

If active, Pens will autosave every 30 seconds after being saved once.

Auto-Updating Preview

If enabled, the preview panel updates automatically as you code. If disabled, use the "Run" button to update.

Format on Save

If enabled, your code will be formatted when you actively save your Pen. Note: your code becomes un-folded during formatting.

  <h4 class="text-center">James Joyce's key life events:</h3>
  <li>February 2nd 1882: James Joyce is born in Rathgar.</li>
  <li>1888: Joyce is enrolled in Clongowes Wood College.</li>
  <li>1893: The Joyce family move to the North Inner City and Joyce enrolls in Belvedere College. </li>
    <li>1896: Joyce starts writing prose skeches. </li>
    <li>1898: Joyce enrolls in a degree at University College, studying Modern European Languages.</li>
    <li> 1902: Joyce receives his degree and enrolls in medical school in Paris. </li>
    <li>1904: Joyce returns home to care for his dying mother, when he meets his wife-to-be. He also begins writing Dubliners.
    <li>1914: Dubliners is published in London.</li>
    <li>1922: A first edition of Ulysses is published by Joyce's friend. </li>
   <li>1941: Joyce dies of a perforated duodenal ulcer. He is buried in Fluntern cemetery, Zurich. </li>
