Add External Stylesheets/Pens

Any URL's added here will be added as <link>s in order, and before the CSS in the editor. If you link to another Pen, it will include the CSS from that Pen. If the preprocessor matches, it will attempt to combine them before processing.

+ add another resource

Babel is required to process package imports. If you need a different preprocessor remove all packages first.

Add External Scripts/Pens

Any URL's added here will be added as <script>s in order, and run before the JavaScript in the editor. You can use the URL of any other Pen and it will include the JavaScript from that Pen.

                <div class="container">
  <div class="text-center">
    <h1>HW Grader</h1>
    <input id="input-grade" type="number" placeholder="Grade"/>
    <button id="submit">Grade Me!</button>
  <hr />

  <p id="output-grade" class="text-center"></p>

                .container {
  width: 300px;
  margin: 0 auto;
  border: 1px solid black;
  padding: 10px;

.text-center {
  text-align: center

#output-grade {
  font-size: 50px;

  1. Attach .click() event to #submit
  2. Create a function, assignGrade, that runs when #submit is clicked. This fuction should do the following:
  3. Create a variable, grade, assigned to value inside #input-grade
  4. Write an if/else if/else statement that outputs a LETTER grade to #output-grade based on the NUMERICAL grade the user entered (don't worry about +/- grades)
  Ex: user enters "95", #output-grade should contain "A"
  Ex: user enters "75", #output-grade should contain "C"
  Hint, your first condition should be (grade >= 90)

// On click #submit run assignGrade func

function assignGrade() {
  // 1. Inputs: Grab and store grade number
  var grade = $('#input-grade').val()

  // 2. Logic: ex: if (grade > 90) return A
  if (grade >= 90) {
  } else if (grade >= 80)  {
  } else if (grade >= 70) {
  } else if (grade >= 60) {
  } else {
    $('#output-grade').html('YOU FAIL')
