First of all, I've already built a portfolio website on softwareschool.

Yet, this portfolio is a new one, on a different medium, made a few years after the softwareschool. In the meanwhile, I've settled in the California Delta, not too far from Silicon Valley where I worked for a short time with Apple in Cupertino.
I've helped with Drowning Man, a creative fest on the water, connected to the Seasteading movement. My wife and I now have an agency for the Band bookings, and do a monthly jamsession. We own a 43' wooden Tollycraft Adventurer boat.
I like to read, and researched all kinds of topics in all facets and sometimes I write about this, hopefully to add a new perspective to this subject. 'Machtsmisbruik' is one of the sites where I published various articles.
With the Band we've encountered and won the battle over cancer (thanks to MediCal), played at bars, inside living rooms, garages, gardens and festivals.
We helped with a fundraiser and will perform another show during the next festival. I'm studying the freecodecamp site. Lots of things have changed since I started building websites at the earliest days of the Internet.

I call myself a simple developer, an example of my back-end work is liftcentrale, a Dutch language hitch hikers database, now derelict since other websites like Uber took over the idea. Unfortunately, this site gets hacked often...(server side)

Other examples of my work are my brother's website, and Ivo's art website (in Wordpress)

 Band website
For this last site, I've studied wordpress, virtualizing and redirecting, to cut cost. Another musician who still enjoys his free website is T-Bone Fisher. For anyone used to the fantastic looking websites of today, built by teams of sometimes over 100 people, these sites may look a little outdated. But just like the difference between wearing a unique, million dollar design of a fashion king and a couple of jeans from a more affordable boutique, my websites are actually affordable for all people, young and old, modal or poor.
