Roddy Frame is a singer and songwriter from East Kilbride, Scotland, whose 30-plus-year musical journey began at age 19 with the band Aztec Camera. They were one of the earliest acts signed to the influential Scottish indie label Postcard Records.
Their albums were critically acclaimed, and garnered many UK hits throughout the 80's. With the 1987 release Love, Aztec Camera became a Roddy Frame solo project in all but name. After 1994's Frestonia, Frame retired the Aztec
Camera name and began releasing albums under his own name.

Throughout his career, Frame's music has joined a keen sense of melody to melancholic, personal lyrics. He draws inspiration in equal measure from the folk traditions of Bob Dylan, the punk energy of The Clash, and the jazz finesse of Django Rinehardt
          and Wes Montgomery.
