  <p class="lead">Brian Blessed is a British actor and comedian born on 9 October 1936 in Mexborough, Yorkshire. He started acting on TV in 1962, first appearing in the BBC television series Z-Cars. Brian is most known for his booming voice and roles in popular television shows and movies such as: The Black Adder, Flash Gordon, Star Wars and Robin Hood. He recently announced he has completed 800 hours of cosmonaut training and will be visiting the International Space Station when he turns 80.</p>

      <li>2014 - Appeared on TV show "who do you think you are" tracing his family roots</li>
      <li>2016 - Appointed Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE)</li>
