I like to bicycle for a couple of hours which is about as relaxing as 2-3 beers but doesn't get in the way of work and is negative 500-800 Calories not 300-600 in the other direction.
It also provides mental white space to be creative and solve hard problems.
Once in the office I use TDD with fault injection which makes release schedules and interrupts from bugs fairly predictable - I don't go through many release candidates or deal with many customer issues which leaves me free to focus on interesting technical and business problems.
I also sleep at least 8 hours per day, which makes me less irritable and more healthy.
