Vendor Prefixing

Add External Stylesheets/Pens

Any URL's added here will be added as <link>s in order, and before the CSS in the editor. You can use the CSS from another Pen by using it's URL and the proper URL extention.

Any URL's added here will be added as <script>s in order, and run before the JavaScript in the editor. You can use the URL of any other Pen and it will include the JavaScript from that Pen.

Add Packages

Search for and use JavaScript packages from npm here. By selecting a package, an import statement will be added to the top of the JavaScript editor for this package.


Save Automatically?

If active, Pens will autosave every 30 seconds after being saved once.

Auto-Updating Preview

If enabled, the preview panel updates automatically as you code. If disabled, use the "Run" button to update.

Format on Save

If enabled, your code will be formatted when you actively save your Pen. Note: your code becomes un-folded during formatting.

      Aldous Leonard Huxley was a prominent writer and philosopher. He was born in England on <time datetime="1894-07-26">july 26, 1894</time>. His first novel was "Crome Yellow", published in 1921. However, the novel that would make him recognized worldwide was "Brave New World" (1932), a novel which shows the story of a dystopian world where technology and science has achieved amazing advancements and people are environmentally engineered into an intelligence-based social hierarchy. He passed away on <time datetime="1963-11-22"> november 22, 1963</time>. His writings influence society until today.

  - Select the project you would 
    like to complete from the dropdown 
  - Click the "RUN TESTS" button to

  - Start coding! As you fulfill each

    from red to green.
  - As you start to build out your
