Add External Stylesheets/Pens

Any URL's added here will be added as <link>s in order, and before the CSS in the editor. You can use the CSS from another Pen by using it's URL and the proper URL extention.

Add Packages

Search for and use JavaScript packages from npm here. By selecting a package, an import statement will be added to the top of the JavaScript editor for this package.


Save Automatically?

If active, Pens will autosave every 30 seconds after being saved once.

Auto-Updating Preview

If enabled, the preview panel updates automatically as you code. If disabled, use the "Run" button to update.

Format on Save

If enabled, your code will be formatted when you actively save your Pen. Note: your code becomes un-folded during formatting.

        <li><strong>1863</strong> - Born on a farm in Greenfield Township, Michigan.</li>
        <li><strong>1879</strong> - Ford left home to work as an apprentice machinist in Detroit.</li>
        <li><strong>1882</strong> - Returned to Dearborn to work on the family farm.</li>
        <li><strong>1888</strong> - Ford marries Clara Jane Bryant.</li>
        <li><strong>1891</strong> - He becomes an engineer at Edison Illuminating Company.</li>
        <li><strong>1893</strong> - After his promotion to Chief Engineer Ford has enough time and money to devote his attension in experimenting with gasoline engines.</li>
        <li><strong>1896</strong> - Ford Quadricycle, a self-propelled vehicle is fabricated by Ford.</li>
        <li><strong>1898</strong> - After getting approval from Thomas Edison regarding his automobile experimentation, Ford completes his second vehicle.</li>
        <li><strong>1899</strong> - Founded the Detroit Automovile Company which was unsuccessful and got disolved in 1901.</li>
        <li><strong>1901</strong> - Henry Ford company is formed.</li>
        <li><strong>1908</strong> - The Model T is introduced, one of the most successful automobiles in history.</li>
        <li><strong>1914</strong> - Offered a high salary for his workers (at $5 a day - equivalent to $120 a day in 2018)</li>
        <li><strong>1926</strong> - Introduced the 5 day (40 hours) work week.</li>
        <li><strong>1947</strong> - Dies at the age of 83</li>
