Behavior

If enabled, your code will be formatted when you actively save your Pen. Note: your code becomes un-folded during formatting.

      <p>The <strong>"CSS Box Model" </strong> states that every element in an HTML document is essentially inside of a "box". This set of rules determine the dimensions of every element in a web page. You can change the amount of space around the content, its border, and the space between itself and other elements. The "CSS Box Model" consist of four properties:
      <ul>
        <li><span>Content</span> - The content itself (text, image, etc) in the element</li>
        <li><span>Padding</span> - The space between the box's content and its border </li>
        <li><span>Border</span> - The line between the box's padding and margin</li>
        <li><span>Margin</span> - The space between the box and surround boxes/elements</li>

    <h3>Content</h3>
    <p>The <strong>content</strong> is everything inside of an html element, usually in the form of a text or an image. </p>

    <h3>Padding</h3>
    <p><strong>Padding</strong> refers to the transparent area between the content and the border. There are four sides to padding: </p>

      <li>padding-left</li>

    <p><strong>Border</strong> is a line drawn around the content and the padding of an element. The border property require a <em>size</em>, a <em>style</em>, and a <em>color</em>. </p>
